This past Friday night September 4th, 2009 I had the opportunity to relive a joy of my youth, roller skating. See, I recently learned that a roller skating rink had opened up in Brooklyn. Though seasonal Lola Staar’s Dreamland Roller Rink located off the boardwalk in Coney Island in my home borough of Brooklyn, NY is a fun excursion that should not be missed. |

Friday was the first “Saved in My City” official event night. Preparing to leave my house I packed up my Sketchers skates and my new Sony Webbie MHS-PM1 HD Camcorder (Violet) The following video clip and photos chronicle my evening. Though I was a party of one I had a blast. I came home with sore body parts after almost 3 hours of skating; however, energized and encouraged enough to do it again!

Having fun and enjoying life, while being a Christian!
Tonight is the night! Getting my Sketchers 4-wheel skates oiled up. A group of folks and me are heading over to Dreamland Skating Rink in Coney Island to preview it before we schedule an official Saved in My City event!
The Saved in My City Ning Community was launched last week and the Facebook page earlier this one. It’s time for the saints to come out and enjoy themselves; clean and free without a care of thinking they are doing something that is unholy.
