I can taste the rain…

Posted on April 20, 2009 by Lela Jefferson Fagan

Today when I went out to give the dog his first walk for the day I discovered it was raining.  Decided against going back upstairs and get my umbrella.  Instead I  just put my hood up and allowed the rain to lightly fall down on me.

When I think of rain I think of its renewing powers, that it brings life.  As I continued to walk down the street singing to myself… I stuck my tongue out just alittle so I could taste the rain…
