Back to the Basics

During the last few weeks or so I have been writing more especially poetry. I have gone back to the basics… pen to paper and stopping to really observe my surroundings, feelings, attitude and atmosphere.

On the writing front… A few weeks ago I began the outline of my mother’s story. Her story alone is one that I believe would be a bestseller. My dad’s is another one. I believe both my parents stories will be beginning chapters of my own memoirs…

What I have learned about myself is that my writing comes more freely when my spirit is at peace. It is something I work on maintaining daily.

A Life Lesson Learned: “Nothing of value worthy of keeping stays fresh without some kind of maintenance…”
