Don’t Discount Your Past

Posted on February 4, 2014 by Lela Jefferson Fagan
When I look back at my life so far, what I have gone through, what I have done and where I have been I just have to say thank you God! I don’t think many of us take the time just be grateful. Yes, you can have the desire to want more, to do more, to be more and you should be. However, you cannot discount your journey to get where you are today.
This is my prayer…

Thank you, Jesus for being a brother like no other. You died so I could live! Thank you, Holy Spirit for being a constant guide and counselor even when I didn’t want to hear your wisdom. You didn’t leave me you showed me gentle consistency. Thank you, God for being so detailed in your vision, and compassionate in your giving of Grace and new mercies. You let me to stumble, pick me up when I fall, bandage me when I bleed, pour love into my wounds so they can heal fully… Restoring me with each challenge overcame to YOUR factory setting. You sustained me when I was weak. You are my Abba (provider). You designed called me for your purpose and will be fulfilled! You are my Past, my Present and Future. I am in awe that you call me your beloved. Amen. #LOVEFORWARD
