“You are more powerful than you could EVER imagine. Walk with a boldness knowing, you wouldn’t be here if God didn’t have a purpose for you to fulfill!”
This morning as I was starting my day, the above statement came into my Spirit. All I could do at the moment was to say Ok, I receive it Lord! I then was led to begin cleaning out and archiving my voice recorder. I hadn’t realized I had over 3 years of recordings stored on it! Many of the audio files were of Music Ministry rehearsals from my church back home World Changers Church – New York.
I found some real gems from choir, mic singers and band rehearsals and even some one-on-one sessions with my vocal coaches (circa 2011-2013.) The reason why they are so valuable to me is… they chronicle the development of a family of worshipers!
I can only really speak for myself. However, I know sometimes we tend to forget … ALL that it took for us to get to where we are today. I was blessed to have been a member of the WCC-NY‘s Music Ministry from DAY ONE! And know it’s nothing but God’s grace that has allowed me to continue to serve my extended family for now almost 10 years even from Houston!
I also found on the recorder of course touch bases with my clients and a few with my sister-friends who are in my inner circle. One of my sisters and I check in with each other at least 2-3 times a week on the phone. It’s like iron sharpening iron because she is powerful in her own right. A lot of times while we are fellowshipping we just allow the Spirit to flow during our conversations. It has gotten to the point now that she actually asks me if I have my voice recorder on. This way we can capture the wisdom nuggets the Holy Spirit speak to and through both of us during these calls.
I also found directives from my Pastor; I serve as a steward leader. And webinar and teleconferences on business development and marketing from the past year that I had forgot I even had. They will be beneficial to me as I work on establishing my brand.
I thought it was interesting, that the Holy Spirit brought me in a sense to my audio journal to show me I already had all the fuel I needed to move forward with my goals. I just had to tune my ears to it, and begin doing the work.
I can already see this is going to be a life changing second half of the year!
