Throwback to December 2022…
It’s my 42nd birthday, and I declare it my “Year of Yes!” after listening to Shonda Rhimes’s book on Audible.
I’ve decided to embrace new experiences and make wise health decisions. So, I kicked off this journey by visiting my primary care doctor to establish my baseline. It was an essential step towards total wellness.
One significant decision I made was finding a new gynecologist who could guide me through the process of having a hysterectomy. It wasn’t an easy choice, but I knew it was necessary for my well-being.
Fast forward two years to today.
I’ve successfully undergone the surgery. Now, I’m taking a closer look at my other health concerns and ensuring I’m on the right track. It’s time to reclaim my life, not just for myself but also for my loving husband and amazing kids.
I’m filled with hope and determination as I approach the milestone of turning fifty in less than six years. I want to witness my children embark on their journeys and experience the joy of being a grandparent someday.
With God’s grace, I’m ready to live my best life. Each day is a gift, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make the most of it. Let’s embrace positivity, faith, and love as we navigate this beautiful journey together.
