I always have enjoyed cooking. My father bought me my first cookbook when I was 16. He jokingly wrote in its dedication that he purchased it in the hopes by having the proper training I would burn less food. At that point, I had not cooked a meal yet… so I remember giving him an odd look after reading it. He smiled, laughed and patted me on my head. Now more 20 years later I am still experimenting in the kitchen. I have a few signature dishes that my husband, family, and friends request I cook up for gatherings. With the Internet and websites like Pinterest and search engines like Google, I can find new recipes inspirations with just a few keystrokes. In this section, you will find some of my favorites.

Equipment Needed: Ice Crushing Blender Measuring Cup Ingredients: 1 Cup of Ice 2 Cups of Unsweetened Almond Breeze Vanilla Milk 2 Cups of Frozen HEB Brand Mixed Fruit (Peaches, Strawberries, Cantaloupe, Pineapple and Grapes) No Sugar Added ½ Cup of HEB Brand Strawberry and Raspberry Low fat Granola Take all the Ingredients and place in your blender. Place on HIGH or your Smoothie setting until blended. Stir if needed. Total Calories per Serving: 105 Yields 4 servings
