My 2013 Year-end Book Reading Schedule
With less than 3 weeks left before we close out 2013, I realize that I have about 5 books that I would like to finish reading before the New Year. There are three I absolutely want to finish. How Devoted to Your Devotionals are You?
Between you and me, I am honestly not that skilled when it comes to reading any of my faith based devotionals every day. For the last few years, I have purchased an annual devotional book by Joyce Meyer. This year’s book is “Trusting God Day by Day: 365 Daily Devotions” My practice is if I fall behind in my readings by a few days; I make it my business in one sitting to read and meditate on as many as I can grasp (with understanding) till the next time. “Right Heart. Right Attitude.”; by Joyce Meyer is the book I am currently reading or should I say is reading me. I was introduced to the book after watching a series of episodes on the subject of “Attitudes” on Joyce Meyer’s “Enjoying Everyday Life” broadcast. Auntie Joyce’s (what I affectionately call her) program is one of the word-based ones I record on my DVR. I watch it and others during my devotional time.
