I have a confession to make…
This morning, I made the conscious decision to end a relationship I’ve had for over 20 years. It was intimate, constant, and for a long time, part of my identity. Honestly, letting it go almost brought me to tears.
Through it, I met incredible people and had doors opened I never expected. But over time, the bad started outweighing the good. It became draining—time-consuming, expensive, and honestly? My heart wasn’t in it anymore.
I stopped sharing it with others. We drifted. We just weren’t connected like we used to be.
This breakup was long overdue. I barely checked in, and when I did, it felt like a chore. It didn’t represent who I am now, especially as a wife and mom. Keeping it around just didn’t make sense anymore.
So… I did it.
I deleted my first vanity email account from my Outlook inbox and started unsubscribing from all those newsletters I haven’t read in years.
Gotcha! 😄
Have an amazing weekend!
